Indira Rampersad, BA Psych, RMT, brings to Hollow Reed over 15 years of experience in therapeutic massage and a life-long interest in health and wellbeing.
Her practice is guided by a passion to help others and in exploring methods of growth and transformation.
After graduating from massage school, her search for a deeper, more wholistic approach to therapy led her to Thailand where she learned the art of Thai Massage and then to India where she also studied Ayurveda. This helped to evolve her practice and to develop a finer sensitivity to the subtle energies that move throughout the body.
More recently, Indira has been studying Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Somato-Emotional Release and the Neuromovement and will often incorporate a variety of these techniques in a session.
Indira’s approach is gentle and intuitive and involves supporting the body’s innate ability to heal itself. She facilitates changes by aiding her clients in developing a deeper awareness of their bodies. This often leads to pain relief, greater ease and freedom of movement, and a feeling of calm.
